Drowning was inspired by a response that I received through my Anxiety Poll. The person described their anxiety as debilitating and made them feel as if they are being drowned. To represent this feeling, I drew a man holding onto a log as if he is struggling to free himself from the water. This helps to lend to the idea that he is drowning but still moving about his daily life.
